Passionfruit, guava, ripe pineapple, grapefruit and lime on the nose. The palate has a slightly more candied fruits of pineapple and lime, hints of green capsicum and lime. The palate has a luscious feel, soft but still fresh with good acid. As far as Sauvignon Blanc goes, it shows great restraint. No fruit bombs here.
The fruit for the Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Poachers Pantry vineyard. Handpicked and whole bunch pressed on slow Champagne cycle for 4 hours. Vinified with neutral yeast and fermented in temperature range of 15 to 16 degrees Celsius. No finings. Filtered then bottled first week of September
