White flowers, pine lime, meyer lemon, lime oil, William pears. Very small amount of sweetness that is quickly turned to dry palate feel, almost like sherbet, this Riesling shows much fleshier fruits than the others. The acid starts soft but picks up and drives through to the back of the palate. Very soft and delicate feel on the palate, distinctly a different Riesling from Nick thanks to the Gundaroo vineyard fruit.
100% sourced from the Lamberts vineyard in Gundaroo (30 year old vines). Handpicked and whole bunch pressed on slow Champagne cycle for 4 hours. Vinified with neutral yeast and fermented in temperature range of 14 to 15 degrees Celsius. No finings. Filtered then bottled last week of October
