Honeydew melon, fig, pineapple, lime leaf, pear, yellow flowers. The palate shows more lemon and honey with the melon continuing through. It has a chalky grip on the palate that is cleaned off with a highly layered acid structure
Single vineyard wine from our home block 'Heywood Estate' in Hall. This is the first Canberra District Albariño to be released. Handpicked and whole bunch pressed on slow Champagne cycle for 4 hours. Vinified with neutral yeast and fermented in temperature range of 15 to 16 degrees Celsius. No finings. Filtered then bottled last week of June
